What it does
Pneumatically Actuated Ball Valve
A ready assembly in which a ball valve and a pneumatic actuator are delivered together. The quarter-turn opening and closing movement of the valve is performed by compressed air.
When fully open a ball valve offers almost no resistance to flow and provides tight shut-off, which is why it is preferred on lines where on/off duty must be fast and positive. Combined with an actuator, this movement becomes remotely operable.
The actuator can be selected as single acting (spring return) or double acting. Valve size, body and sealing materials and actuator type are determined per project; it is enough to state the operating conditions of your line in your request.
